Registering your Radio for Wires-X

When to Register. Each radio you plan to connect via the Wires-X software will need to be registered. That means if you plan to use your radio as a Personal Data Node or using an HRI-200, you will need to register your radio. You do not need to register your radio to connect to Wires-X via the repeater over RF.

Prior to Registration. Before you register for a Wires-X node number, you will need to know your Radio’s ID number. The number will be a 5-place alpha-numeric code.

Yaesu Registration Page. Yaesu provides the required node number via their New Member Registration page.
